I came to Lean Six Sigma through years of operational leadership; owning real processes, leading real teams, and being accountable for real outcomes.

 

Long before formal certification, I was already applying Lean thinking: identifying bottlenecks, reducing waste, improving workflows, and balancing quality, speed, and sustainability under real constraints. Lean Six Sigma provided structure and shared language for work I had been practicing for 15 years in both my military and civilian career paths combined. My approach to teaching is practical, experience-driven, and grounded in reality, not theory alone.

My professional background consists of 12 years of leadership in the Army, and 7 years of management in the civilian sector. I focus on helping capable professionals recognize the improvement work they’re already doing, strengthen it with structure, and apply it responsibly in the environments they actually work in.
